I loved the fire pits and how they added a cozy vibe to the evenings. The stone showers in the room were a wonderful touch, offering a unique experience with their design.
The layout around the pool could benefit from better seating options.

Staying at this lodge was a fantastic experience! The communal dinner with Top Chef Joe Sasto was a highlight, and we loved the laid-back atmosphere. Our kids enjoyed splashing around the pool while we appreciated the rustic charm all around.
My children wanted more kid-friendly activities on site.

Had an amazing time with friends! We explored Joshua Tree National Park and enjoyed the outdoor activities. The rooms were spacious, and the pool area was perfect for relaxing. Don't miss the communal dinners. they're a great way to socialize. Just a heads up, book your meals early, especially for popular times.
We faced a hiccup with our dinner reservation. Although we booked, they couldn't find our info. They offered us food, but it wasn't the vibe we wanted.

I loved my stay at Sparrows Lodge. The layout of the property is charming, with a beautiful pool and hot tub area that feels secluded and relaxing. The farm-to-table dining was a real highlight, featuring fresh, quality ingredients in every meal. The staff stood out for their kindness, especially Caroline at check-in who made everything easy. Each room felt like a retreat—dark and cool, perfect for escaping the Palm Springs heat. I appreciated the thoughtful touches around the hotel, like the well-stocked breakfast, and the small patios offered nice spots to unwind. I did encounter a couple of issues. The thin walls meant I could hear conversations from neighboring rooms, which was a bit distracting. Additionally, the parking situation was tricky at times since the restaurant's popularity often filled up the lot. Overall, I enjoyed a cozy atmosphere and truly relaxing stay while soaking up the sun by the pool.

Couples looking for a serene escape
I stayed for 1 night and it was exactly what I needed. The stone showers felt like I was outside, very refreshing…. and there were fire pits where I could relax and make S'mores, which was bonding time with my partner too!
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but it's worth the experience.
